Blackwood Officenathanc.cccrd@gmail.com ○ ext 710

Nate is a therapist at CCCRD and a Licensed Associate Counselor in NJ. He earned an MS in Counseling and a BS in Bible from Cairn University. He has been counseling since 2020 and works with adolescents, adults, families, and groups. He is particularly interested in working with depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, relationships, parenting, and spiritual issues.

Nate was born in the Philippines on the mission field. In high school, he began to take his faith more seriously and decided to find a career where he could share the love of Christ with those who are struggling. Like his parents and siblings, he ended up in ministry in 2016 when he became the youth pastor at Laurel Hill Bible Church, where he still serves today. Nate has a wife, Katie, and two kids. Their family also fosters children, and they hope to adopt more in the future.

Nate is passionate about helping people find hope and healing through a relationship with Jesus. He has a desire to help people be transformed by the renewal of their minds so that they may know the will of God and become more like Christ (Romans 12:1-2, 8:29). Most of all, he seeks to help bring hope to the hopeless.
