A Little About Us

Who We Are

CCCRD stands for the Center for Christian Counseling & Relationship Development. Our team of therapists provides professional counseling for a wide range of mental health concerns to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Our vision is to be a network of centers in the tri-state area that provide exceptional counseling while training the next generation of Christian clinicians.

Our Beliefs

Our Christian counseling staff is trained in the Bible and in human science disciplines and come from different educational and spiritual backgrounds, enabling us to offer more comprehensive counseling and educational services.

Each member of the staff has personally trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As such, we are committed to becoming Christ-like and to listening and following the guidance of the indwelling Holy Spirit and the inerrant Bible, God's word. It is our sincere desire to love all persons, to be a testimony for Christ, and to bring glory to God.

That being said, all of our services are offered to Christians and non-Christians alike. We respect people's right to choose and live out their own beliefs, meaning we accept people where they are without any preconceived expectations.

Our counseling staff sincerely desires and fervently prays that God may lead you to invite us on your journey toward growth and healing in Jesus Christ. Thank you for considering partnering with us.

Our History

CCCRD was founded in 1983 by Dr. Frank Mancuso, PhD, as a privately owned and operated, non-denominational counseling center offering services to individuals, couples, groups, churches, and other organizations.

In 2001, Dr. Matthew Miller, PsyD joined the center and together they built it into what it is today with a reputation of exceptional counseling and educational services.

In 2017, Dr. Miller became an associate professor in the graduate psychology program at Cairn University, training the next generation of clinicians. This connection established the foundation for the current model of CCCRD as a teaching center.

In 2019, Dr. Mancuso retired and Dr. Miller took over the responsibility of Clinical Director. Dr. Miller brought on more clinicians and began the internship program.

In 2022 and 2023, CCCRD expanded to a second location in Marlton and additional locations in Blackwood and Princeton, NJ. These additions continued the expansion of the counseling team and the number of people the center can serve per week.
