CORONAVIRUS--WE ARE TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY! And we are taking all necessary precautions to protect our staff and clients at CCCRD. We have significantly increased our facility sterilizing protocols. Should any of you, our clients, have cold or flu-like symptoms, we strongly encourage you to let your therapist know and cancel your appointments until you have recovered. Thank you!

The peace of Christ be yours, Matt Miller, Psy.D.

Welcome to CCCRD in Marlton, NJ

The Center for Christian Counseling & Relationship Development, L.L.C. (CCCRD) was founded in 1983 by Frank Mancuso, Ph.D.  He served as the Clinical Director until October, 2019 when longtime therapist at CCCRD, psychologist, and Cairn University professor, Matthew Miller, Psy.D., assumed leadership. As of August 1, 2020, after 42 years, Frank Mancuso retired from counseling. He launched a new writing website  in an effort to care for those God sends his way -

The staff (seasoned therapists and often master's level interns and therapist's pursuing NJ licensing) is trained in Bible and human science disciplines and sincerely follows after Jesus Christ. We offer counseling from a non-denominational perspective, meaning we accept people wherever they are, work with Christians and non-Christians, and do not impose our beliefs or values, though we are open to sharing them.

Our counseling provides for individual and family counseling for children through the elderly, and couple and group counseling for adults. Our specialty is treating most all relationship problems. Although we are highly experienced in working with individual issues, such as: anxiety, depression, sexual addiction, ADHD, eating, abuse, and spiritual growth, among other personal and mental health problems.

Our counseling orientation is insight-oriented or psychodynamic. We do some cognitive (addressing false beliefs) and behavioral (changing presenting symptoms) counseling, but our primary approach is insight. This approach focuses extensively on heart change and healing of emotions, (not just mind or behavior changes) and discovering how the past impacts the present, which allows for some forecasting of a client's future.

Sessions are by appointment only and are available day and evening, Monday through Friday, and Saturday morning for a fee that is at or below average for the South Jersey area. Those with a diagnosable condition (therapist determined) and an "out of network" insurance benefit are usually able to receive reimbursement directly from their insurance company.

Our staff also offers free writings (Facebook and Newsletters) and for sale articles in our Shop. The writings are researched and aimed at helping Christians better connect with God, others, and self.

 Some staff members present seminars
that are spiritually and psychologically-based to small groups, mini-churches, churches, and other Christian organizations.
