Emily Petrik, LAC

THERAPIST

Emily is a Licensed Associate Counselor at CCCRD. She received her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling at the College of New Jersey, where she also earned her B.A. in Kinesiology.

Emily has worked in therapeutic roles working with patients and clients of diverse populations ranging from adolescents to adults. Her goal is to provide her clients with a space where they can share their individuality and unique stories without judgement. Emily believes that healing and growth can be a wonderful byproduct of connection. Emily has a heart for those struggling with relational issues, emotional difficulties, trauma, life transitions, identity, depression, anxiety, self-confidence, and other pain points. Within the therapeutic space, Emily provides a comforting space for clients to wrestle with difficult questions and turn their pain into purpose.

Emily has been a Christian for a couple of years and serves at her local church on a team and co-leads a crew. She recharges off of connection and loves learning about people. She is filled with gratitude for how much God loves his people and instructs us to do so, which is one of the many reasons that Emily felt called to this field. Emily loves seeing people find ultimate freedom in the Lord. In her free time, Emily loves going to restaurants with her fiancĂ©, coffee shops, the beach, her dog Samson, quality time with loved ones, and spending time in the sun.
