Teresa is a NJ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is a therapist and an ACT approved clinical supervisor at CCCRD. She earned an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a BS in Bible from Cairn University.

Teresa works in private practice with adolescents and adults through individual, couple, family, and group counseling. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is a certified life coach, and Prepare and Enrich Facilitator.

Teresa has been a Christian since 1985. Since then, she has sought to serve Christ with a sincere heart and to live by faith in obedience to God’s Word. As a licensed minister for over 25 years, she has served as an associate minister, worship leader, Bible study teacher, and presenter for workshops and retreats on spiritual growth and development, relationships, mental health, and wellness.

Teresa is a part of the writing team at CCCRD. Her first published book, Self-Care Is Scriptural, which she co-authored with Teriz Michaels, is available for pre-order wherever books are sold, and is scheduled for release on July 22, 2025.

Teresa is a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband, David, have been married for more than 35 years. Together they have raised four children and have two grandchildren. As an indie recording artist, Teresa enjoys singing, as well as quality family time, travel, and Zumba.
