Simone is a Counseling Intern at CCCRD. She holds a BS in Bible and an MS in Education from Cairn University where she is also completing her MS in Counseling.
As a third culture kid, Simone developed a deep appreciation for building relationships and making others feel welcomed, known, and cared for. It wasn’t until after several years of serving others in food services and higher education that she realized she would enjoy combining those skills with her desire to see others grow holistically through counseling.
Simone has been a Christian since her middle school years. She has witnessed the Lord’s use of community to help bring about redemption and growth in the lives of individuals, couples, and families, and is grateful to be used by him to do that as a counselor. Her counseling interests include working with individuals and couples dealing with life transitions, relational issues, and personal development.
Simone’s motto is “It’s not what I’m doing, but who I’m with.” She is down for almost any adventure with friends, and a perfect day would include a morning jog, reading near a sunlit window, baking, and having a meal with friends. Also, she is a firm believer that ice cream should be enjoyed any time of the year!
