THERAPIST

Shannon is a therapist at CCCRD pursuing licensure in PA. He earned an MS in Counseling from Cairn University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia State University. Shannon completed his clinical internship at Cairn’s Oasis Counseling Center, where he gained valuable experience working with diverse populations.

Shannon is passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life, with a particular focus on college students and young adults. He enjoys assisting clients to address mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. In addition to individual therapy, Shannon works with couples, groups, and adults of all ages, creating a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Faith has always been an important part of Shannon’s life. As the son of a preacher, he was raised with a strong Christian foundation. During his college years, he had a transformative moment in his personal faith journey. This experience deepened his passion for helping others integrate their spiritual beliefs into their healing process. Shannon also has experience guiding underprivileged high school students to prepare for higher education with a non-profit organization called Peer Forward, formerly called College Summit.

Outside of his work, Shannon loves spending time with family and friends, volunteering in his community, staying active through exercise, and traveling.
