Pete is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both NJ and PA and is a clinical supervisor and therapist at CCCRD. He earned his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and post-graduate EdS degree from Rider University.

Pete is also Tier 3 certified by the Center for Deployment Psychology in CBT for anxiety and depression and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for trauma. He is an approved provider of Tricare Out-of-Network insurance coverage.

Before joining CCCRD, Pete helped hundreds of college students, adolescents, and adults transform their lives as a Counselor Supervisor in vocational rehabilitation, university, and clinical settings for over a decade. Now, he enjoys seeing clients and training the next generation of counselors at CCCRD.

Pete uses a non-judgmental and relational approach to Christian psychotherapy with integrity, empathy, and results. Integrating CBT, insight/psychodynamic theory, and Biblical truth, he is passionate about seeing clients overcome anxiety and depression, men free from the chains of pornography, adolescents developing a strong sense of self-worth and confidence, and those suffering from past trauma finding healing to live more meaningful lives. Pete is experienced in providing therapy to pastors and understands the unique pressures of leadership. He also treats OCD, panic disorder, relationship issues, stress, career issues, dissatisfaction in life, grief, and spiritual issues such as doubt, shame, and unforgiveness.

Since becoming a Christian in 2011, Pete has fully embraced the true meaning of grace and strives to serve Jesus in all he does. He has been a mentor, youth ministry leader, church planter, Celebrate Recovery facilitator, served on county committees, and is often asked to share his testimony to gatherings of believers and students. He is also the founder of a Christian men’s leadership group with men worldwide. As a featured guest on The Two Things Podcast, he shared his thoughts on Christian therapy and mental health issues. Pete and his wife Kristi have been happily married for over a decade and have three young children.
