Megan is a Counseling Intern at CCCRD. She is earning her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, where she also earned an MA in Human Services Counseling and a BS in Human Services.
Megan has previous experience as a Partial Care Counselor running counseling groups with clients struggling with substance use and other mental health concerns in an outpatient setting.
Megan has always been interested in serving others, and she feels that God has a calling on her life to be a Christian counselor. She strives to be compassionate, empathetic, kind, loving, and non-judgmental to everyone who walks through the door. Her counseling interests include working with clients facing post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.
Megan has been a Christian since childhood and fully embraced Jesus as a young adult. She has a personal understanding of the ups and downs that can come with life, even when you are walking with Jesus. In her spare time, Megan loves to spend time with her son and boyfriend while baking, watching TV, or playing games.
