Kayla is a therapist at CCCRD pursuing licensure in PA. She received both her MS in Counseling and BA in Psychology at Cairn University.
Kayla has experience working with individuals of all ages in multiple settings, such as children with behavioral and emotional difficulties, young adults in a college mental health center, and diverse populations in a non-profit organization. She also co-led a counseling lab to assist graduate students in their professional counseling training and character development.
Kayla enjoys walking alongside those struggling with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic illness, relationships, spirituality, sexuality, gender identity, trauma, and more. She is gentle, easy-going, and compassionate in her care and strives to give clients a safe space to be seen, heard, known, and accepted.
Kayla became a Christian as a child but made her faith her own in middle school. She personally understands how fear, trials, questions, and doubts can shake one’s faith, and she is continually learning about and trusting in Jesus's compassionate nature, which is the foundation for her work as a counselor.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her husband, playing piano and singing, playing video games, watching anime, and listening to podcasts.
