Karen is a Counseling Intern with CCCRD. She is completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has an MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University as well as a BA in Psychology from Lycoming College.
Karen worked as a paramedic in NJ for the past 23 years and has been a first responder in various roles for over 30 years. Over the past several years, Karen has felt God pulling her toward a counseling career. Her interests include working with adults facing posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other job-related issues.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys fellowship with her church and small groups. Additionally, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, fostering dogs and cats, crocheting, and reading.
