James is a Licensed Associate Counselor at CCCRD. He holds a BS in Youth and Family Ministry and an MS in Counseling from Cairn University.
James conducted his internship at Cairn University’s Oasis Counseling Center where he saw a diverse range of clients, expanding from adolescents and young adults to middle-aged adults and married couples. Since his relationship with Christ began in childhood, James has found an ever-growing desire in his heart to see Jesus intimately involved in the day-to-day struggles of his life. He hopes to help those he counsels to experience the same. As a therapist, James’ areas of interest include anxiety, depression, shame, addiction, relationship issues, grief, couple counseling, and spiritual growth.
In his spare time, James enjoys reading, writing, running, playing board games with close friends (and winning), and discovering new music, particularly instrumental and indie folk.
