Isabella is a Counseling Intern at CCCRD. She is currently finishing her MS in Counseling at Cairn University. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Oboe and English Horn from the University of Delaware.

Isabella has a particular clinical interest in working with adolescents and teens, and she has several years of experience in teaching and emotional support in middle schools. Other counseling interests include family issues, relational issues, spiritual formation, adjustment and transitions, and coping with illnesses.

Isabella has been a Christian since childhood but embraced a deeper relationship with Christ after a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease and a struggle to adjust in college. Since then God has been faithful to lead her to a wonderful Christian community, contentment in Christ, and many days full of joy in serving at summer youth camps, YoungLife, and her church’s junior high ministries.

In her free time, Isabella enjoys being with family, playing and enjoying all kinds of music, being at the shore, birdwatching, and trying her best at creative hobbies like sewing, knitting, baking, and earring making. She considers herself curious above all and has a passion for learning new things, especially relating to God’s creation in the natural world. She has been married to her husband, Terry, for just under a year and finds their marriage and future family to be her greatest joy.
