Imani is a Counseling Intern at CCCRD. She holds a BS in Early Childhood Education and American Studies, and she is currently completing her MS in Clinical Counseling at Eastern University.

Growing up in a Christian family dedicated to mission work, Imani developed a love for people through various community service activities. From teaching Sunday school and Bible study from a young age to later serving as a Fulbright English Teaching Scholar in Taiwan, Imani's experiences shaped her cultural competence, communication skills, and empathy.

Her passion for helping others and interest in well-being led to her transition from the classroom to the counseling profession. As a Christian since age seven, Imani's intimate encounters with God and witnessing His transformative power in her life and others' lives serve as a foundation for providing hope, healing, and spiritual support in her counseling role.

Imani is also a certified Zumba instructor. In her free time, she enjoys teaching Zumba, having meaningful conversations on her podcast “Salvation Stories,” listening to other good podcasts, spending time with family, gardening, and trying new vegan dishes.
