Christine Bonaventura, LPC

THERAPIST ○ CHIEF OF STAFF

Christine earned her B.A. in Education from Bucknell University and her M.S. in Counseling from Cairn University. She is a licensed professional counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

She counsels individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, relationship challenges, personality disorders, trauma, and spiritual or church-related wounds. Before joining CCCRD, Christine operated her own private practice, bringing with her 25 years of experience in church ministry leadership and service, as well as a background in public school education. Her years in ministry give her a unique understanding of the joys, stresses, and demands of ministry life. These diverse experiences have equipped her to compassionately support teens, couples, and individuals through a wide range of life challenges.

Christine’s counseling approach blends “inside-out” and “outside-in” work—using psychodynamic tools to help clients understand themselves, their motives, and the roots of their struggles, while also applying evidence-based techniques to address painful circumstances and develop effective, practical coping skills.

She lives in South Jersey with her teenage daughter and is passionate about guiding others toward lasting hope, healing, and personal transformation.
