Brynn Gutelius, LAC
THERAPIST
Brynn is a therapist at CCCRD and a Licensed Associate Counselor in NJ. She holds a BA in Psychology from Eastern University and an MS in Counseling from Cairn University.
Brynn sees individuals aged 11 through late adulthood and offers pre-marital and relationship counseling. She has experience with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, spiritual questions, trauma and grief. Brynn has a heart for seeing clients through significant life transitions such as medical diagnoses, post-partum challenges, or having an empty nest after raising a family. She also has a special interest in helping teens and their parents thrive—not just survive—during those years of growth and change. Brynn has past experience as a Nurturing Parents facilitator, teaching classes on the developmental stages of infants through late adolescence and the issues that arise within family relationships.
Brynn’s approach is non-judgmental and encouraging. She uses various modalities such as person-centered therapy, CBT, EFT and ACT, to foster deep connections with her clients. Brynn’s heart for Jesus serves as her motivation to help others heal and grow, and she follows her clients lead in how they’d like to incorporate faith into their session.
Brynn is married to her college sweetheart and together they have two young adult daughters and a few beloved pets. In this new season of impending empty nesting, she and her husband love walks with their dog, play cards, planning the next get-away, and trying new restaurants. Brynn is a non-ashamed Disney adult and a true Jersey girl, getting to the shore any chance she gets.
