Brian is a Licensed Psychologist in both NJ and PA. He earned a PsyD (Doctorate in Psychology) in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University in 2015.
Brian’s rooted identity in Christ informs his psychological practice. As a therapist, Brian uses a low-pressure approach, which integrates psychoanalytic psychotherapy with Biblical truth. Prior to joining CCCRD, Brian had experiences in community behavioral health, neurorehabilitation, large group psychotherapy practice, and private practice psychotherapy spanning more than a decade. Brian primarily works with adults in individual and couples therapy.
In the clinical setting, Brian treats people with a variety of concerns. These include new or long-standing anxiety, depression, or panic; obsessions and compulsions; pornography cessation; spiritual struggles; navigating work and occupational concerns; topics concerning personality disorders; and others. When working with couples, Brian can aid in navigating topics including infidelity, communication challenges, emotional distance, that “we’re stuck in same old pattern” feeling and other areas to help couples find safety and connection.
Outside the therapy room, Brian has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and counseling and has spoken professionally on a wide range of topics, such as treatment considerations with religious persons struggling with pornography use and maintaining a psychologically healthy congregation.
Brian gave his life to Christ in 2004 and, since then, has aspired to live a Christ-centered life. Brian is a North Jersey native and presently lives in South Jersey with his wife and three boys. In his own time, he enjoys running, music, playing and watching sports, and cooking for family and friends.
